First things first - this place has the best bread and butter pudding ever made!! If for no other reason you must come to the Globe to have this dessert.

Unfortunately not all the food lived up to this. The mains, while pleasant, were no better than I would expect at home from a decent cook. The range is good though. One huge bug bear I have is that the plates were not warmed which immediately cooled down their contents.

A decent well priced wine list and very friendly and efficient staff.

But go for the bread and butter pudding - I don't even like this dessert normally but with the caramel sauce ........!
