Lunch at La Camera was really good. My friend and I shared the bruschetta al pomodoro, and for mains I had the Gnocchi Posillipo which were really tasty and not at all heavy, especially considering all that cheese in the sauce. My friend had the lamb which he said was really good.

Unfortunately the tiramisu was not on offer, disappointing considering that they claim it to be the world's best. So for dessert I had the creme caramel; it tasted good, but I was slightly disappointed as the skin on top had a feeling of yesterday about it.

The setting is also nice, we sat by the window and watched people go by, that is until some restaurant patrons sat at the bench by the restaurant window.

There is also a second La Camera at Southgate. I have bought a take away from them; the food is of the same quality as at their South Yarra branch. I fortunately have tried the tiramisu there; and while not the world's best to me, is definitely a close third.
