I loved this place! Being a vegetarian means that I either have to compromise by going to a restaurant that the only vegetarian dish they offer is pasta, or even worse just a salad; or settle for sub-standard veggie places.

Shakahari offers great food in a lovely setting. For starters we had the avocado rolls and the chick pea flat bread and they were both delicious, especially the sesame coriander sauce that came with the rolls. The mains were equally good. The tofu caramel was a slight let-down; my dining companion had the seasonal fruit crumple with cream that I thought tasted better. The wine list is quite short and slightly disappointing, but they have quite a few wines by the class; useful when you don?t want to overdo it.

I will definitely be going back!
