New Quay Promenade DOCKLANDS 3008
| 03 9670 5410call

The blue box is one of the first things you see as you step onto New Quay promenade. One of the few buildings in the area specifically designed by students in an architecture competition, it immediately says what you can expect to find inside. Especially if you are expecting fish, chips, sushi, and various alcoholic beverages. Fishbar also provides limited seating inside, and outside under umbrellas, and supplimentary seating with heating just next to the New Quay display centre.
Vegetarian meals are available, as well as "packs", in which you can get fish, prawns and a salad for under $10. Keep a look out for the specials available daily.

Member Review by Guy MartinSubmitted October, 2009 You would expect that a fish and chip outlet on the waterfront would provide high quality seafood, and Fishbar doesn't disappoint. As someone who, in general, is not a seafood fan, I love the fish from Fishbar. Succulent fillets of Flake, cooked to perfection either fried in a light, crisp batter, or grilled for those times I'm watching the scales. Perfectly cooked chips and potato cakes, and great sushi, along with a liquor licence, it's 5-star takeaway.
