Update - May 2009. The saganaki and octopus were still as good. No bread. Good service. The steak was excellent; the mixed lamb-chicken gyros wonderful; a lamb cutlet - wonderful. All came with roasted potatoes and a bit of salad.

The mains are well priced, mostly in the low to mid $20 range, and there is a take-away menu.

Decor is light and bright and bustling on Saturday evening. Starters chosen were a saganaki - excellent, and grilled octopus - very good. No bread came with them, but it was good enough so we lost track of whether it was an oversight or just the way it is.

Mains included a rib eye steak, with the diner proclaiming it one of the best he has had because it was brilliantly done as ordered and was very tasty. My sample reinforced the proclamation, and it was very well priced for the meal and quality.

Two of us had mixed lamb-chicken gyro platters - excellent.

Both meals and the octopus had a bit of cabbage that worked as foils; and the salad accompaniment to the main also had some leafy lettuces, grilled onion, and roasted potatoes.

Sweets - a decent creme caramel and coffees that were no worries but not really special either.
