Exemplary service, enhanced by a fantastic knowledge of the food and wine on offer, always make a visit to Renzo's a memorable one.
Owner Renzo Mammolito (of Cafe Renzi fame in Armadale) has a tendency of making himself known to patrons, and in the process, not only makes his guests feel welcome, but shows a true appreciation for their patronage and utilises the opportunity to answer any questions they may have.
The food is of a consistently high standard, the specials are well chosen, and worthy of serious consideration. The recommendations by the wait staff are more often than not - extremely knowledgeable and accurate. The pricing is very reasonable, and makes Renzo's extremely good value.
Overall, a must-try, and in a new precinct that is becoming increasingly competitive, Renzo's service and quality of food makes it well worth the visit.
Member Review by pipSubmitted July, 2005 Renzo's is in a fantastic location ... lovely on a beautiful night.
Renzo himself likes to welcome you and make himself known - which is a nice personal touch. The service was good and the staff are very freindly making the whole place feel like a big 'family'. Nice atmosphere.
There is a lot of choice on the menu - pizzas, pasta and other tasty bits ... also a large Wine List. For large bookings - they can offer a set menu. There are options to sit inside and out (with gas heaters).
The food is probably 'average' - a couple of people on my table had to send back food as it was not very hot ... but I was in a large group so I imagine it's hard to get everyones food perfect at exactly the same time ... but for the price I would have expected it to be 'right'.
Overall the decor is modern, location is superb, food average, service was good ... but I probably would not go back with a large group again.
