Complementary Pappadums with a ginger pickle dip on arrival was a good start.

Decor: Tasteful.

Service: Very good, although there was a slight language problem with our first waiter.

We decided on the Tenzing Special Banquet.

Soup - Chef's Special (Curried pumpkin & coriander) - very nice with subtle flavours that combined well.

Entrees -

Momos (Nepalese dumplings)

- filled with minced meat, herbs & spices.

- filled with a lentil spice mix.

Garlic prawns - served with a salad mix and Roti bread, garnished with a lemon wedge.

Fantastic combination of flavours and textures, left us in high anticipation of what was to come!

Mains -

Chilli chicken

Goat meat curry

Eggplant & potato curry

Vegetable noodles

Nepalese salad

Coconut rice

All Excellent, well presented and tasteful.

Desserts -

Rato Mohan - Cottage cheese dumpling soaked in sugar syrup, garnished with shredded coconut.

Nepalese delight - Home made pistachio & mango flavoured icecream.

Whilst not a highlight of the evening the desserts were still quite nice.

Over all this was a very well presented and tastebud tantalising meal!
