The first thing you notice when you walk towards the place is that it is a little run down looking - ignore that and go on in!

To be honest the decor could do with a bit of a pick me up ... but if you stay and order - you will be impressed!

The food is fantastic! Really authentic tasting dishes and a nice variety of items on the menu. My picks to try are: pork ribs in spicy salt, mixed seafod with bean curd claypot, honey fillet steak with black pepper and crispy skinned chicken.

There is even a set menu if you can't decide what to order. You will be surprised when the bill arrives as it is so reasonable, most main dishes are from between $8 - $14.50. It is a family owned and run business. Also BYO.

Happy Phoenix has become our 'local' chinese and we order take-away at least once a fortnight!

Would definately recommend if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed :)
