It doesn't matter what time of the day you go - it seems like there is always a wait for Blue Train! It's not so bad though ... usually it's not that long.

Large selection on the menu - my favoutite part is walking in and seeing all the yummy cakes on display - you are salivating just looking at them, so I always try to save room at the end of the meal!

The pizzas are great - they have a wood fired pizza oven in the corner so you know they are going to be good. Just the right amount of topping.

The atmosphere can get quite loud (esp. during the evenings) - but I guess that's part of the experience!

This restaurant is always very busy. There is normally a wait at their bar for a table, so booking ahead is certainly a good plan. (Ed: Blue Train Cafe does not take bookings, but rather, trades on the basis of first in first served. Patrons can wait in the adjacent bar, usually for 1-20 minutes.)

I have been there several times as the food is really unsurpassed. The service is not as good, but it is made up by the good view and the atmosphere of the restaurant. I have never had any room after their main courses to try the desserts but they look wonderful in the front displays. Quite reasonably priced.

Casual dining @ Southbank, try to for a table outside on a nice night.

Vegetarians will like this place as they have ample on the menu to choose from.
