Cafe Fidama was the chosen venue for a leisurely Saturday afternoon lunch. The menu was fairly brief, but full of yummy choices - mainly modern australian with a bit of a European influence. We settled on the chicken caesar salad and the schnitzel - both of which were fabulous (no manufactured meat in the schnitzel, that's for sure!). All the food seemed quite "home-made" and the wine selection was decent and not too overpriced. On the whole it was getting up to the top end of pricing for a casual, last-minute lunch venue, (2 mains with a bottle of wine came to about $70) but we really enjoyed it all the same. A warning that the place itself is fairly small, but highly recommend the spot in the front window on a sunny day!
