Visited Aux Batifolles last night and had such a lovely night. This restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere, the wait staff were to the point but polite and welcoming. A more than adequate wine list, which was reasonably priced. The meal was delicious, for entree I ordered the french "antipasto", a taste of many little morsels including an oyster that tasted of the sea (the menu had mentioned that they shuck on site), main course was the porterhouse with blue cheese sauce and wonderfully crispy frittes, dessert was a rich but still light creme brulee. Given this is a local for us, we will definitely visit again, perhaps next time I will go with some practised french so that I can order my meal without referring to the helpful english descriptions.
