Member Review by simon56Submitted February, 2012 i eat out quite often but to my suprise when my friends told me they were taking me to stuzzi i hadent heard of it. although due to my experience there stuzzi is now on my list of regulare places to dine. the pasta i ordered did something i could have only imagined with its taste and aroma's it gave me a re-visualisation of my trip to italy. but besides my personal experience the food fantastic, the service above average. and the coffee along with the homemade tiramisu i had was one of the best i have ever had. i will be sure to re-visit stuzzi and once again enjoy my dining experience Historical Review by simon56Submitted February, 2012 i eat out quite often but to my suprise when my friends told me they were taking me to Member Review by melanie_pSubmitted February, 2008 I have been to Stuzzi several times and always found it a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers extensive variety and the staff have always been accommodating and friendly. I always look forward to checking out their delightful weekly specials.
I was furthermore impressed recently, when i organised a birthday function for my patner at Stuzzi. We had a large group of people so I was very careful of where i chose because i had to ensure i pleased everyone. I rang Stuzzi and the woman i spoke to was extremely helpful in answering my questions and suggesting a set menu for my group. She also ensured me they would meet any special dietry requirements of the guests. I was very impressed with the choice of their set menus.
On the night the tables were set beautifully on their large wooden dining tables. Everything went smoothly, the staff was great. They continually ensured we were all well looked after. The food was excellent and everyone was very impressed, my partner more than anyone. We all left content and full having had a lovely night out. Very happy! Keep up the good work Stuzzi. Member Review by Carly EdwardsSubmitted March, 2005 Unfortunately, dining at Stuzzi on Easter Monday would have to be my worst restaurant experience of all time! The service was absolutely awful (almost two hours from seating to service of food - with 3 re-orders in that time as the waitress 'forgot' to add it into the computer) and the dishes we received were lukewarm and not what was described on the menu. The baby octopus pasta ordered by 4 of my party was possibly the most overpriced, disappointing dish I have come across. The amount of 'baby octopus' ranged from 2-4 pieces per dish and the rest was made up of greasy penne and olives. The chicken contained in the 'famous' chicken burger was drier than a car tyre and would probably have been rejected by the quality control at KFC! The Linquine Fisherman Syle was very pleasant, but it is hard to enjoy your meal when the people around you are so disappointed!
When we asked a staff member about this (who turned out to be the manager), he told us that it was 'too bad' and that we were lying about how long we had waited, and that even if we had have waited that long, two hours was nothing compared to how long we would have waited if the restaurant was full! We were then informed that he did not care if we never returned or told others about the service as they were always busy anyway and could do with a few less customers!
If you are planning a meal in the northern suburbs, avoid Stuzzi - there are hundreds of other places to choose from which serve quality food and place emphasis on customer service.
