Member Review by GarySubmitted May, 2010 Paris Go is hit and miss for who-serves-you. Two experiences in a row of slow service mixed with distasteful remarks from staff just loses me... getting dishes brought to the table while dirties are hanging around from a previous course says it all. All the regular French favourites are featured, with plates of rabbit terrine, steak and duck whizzing out to the tables on a regular basis. But the service has gone too far downhill - pot luck on the dining room, although the food is good. Historical Review by GarySubmitted March, 2010 Paris Go is a winner for us at dinner. All the regular French favourites are featured, with plates of rabbit terrine, steak and duck whizzing out to the tables on a regular basis. The in ingredients are alway fresh and not over-garnished. Fresh oysters also feature. We always order more than we intend because the food is so good - and reasonably priced. We like the way they leave the wine with you, rather than parking it elsewhere and then forgetting it(like some more expensive places do!)
It's wise to book because this place gets frantic very quickly - and it can get a bit tight for space so early in the week is best. The place teems with regulars who know staff members by name. A good wine list and a BYO option work well, as do the desserts. The staff are also hospitable with a touch of humour. Traditional French bistro food, well executed. Well reccomended.
